As many of you know the heavy rain has left parts of the Northeast underwater. Flash Flooding the past couple of days have turned roadways, yards, and homes into roaring rivers, destroying anything in their path. The damage done by these floods is devastating. A state of emergency was declared in many areas where the water forced people to evacuate their homes.

In several areas a flash flood warning is still in effect. As the water destroyed roads and made roadway safety an issue, local municipalities relied on Eastern Metal Signs & Safety for help in getting the right products for road closures and detours. We received our first large order for Cones and Barricades needed to close roadways at 9 AM yesterday morning. We immediately started sheeting and assembling the necessary products. Due to the amazing crew here at Eastern Metal Signs & Safety the customer arrived at 11:30 to pick up their order. Just 2.5 hours after placing their huge order! Keeping you safe on the road is our top priority and in times of need we will do what it takes to keep you safe and get you the products you need. Our hearts go out to all those affected by this flooding.
