Stop/Slow Paddle Specs
- Minimum Size: 18" x 18" (24" required for high-speed roads).
- Reflectivity: Must be retroreflective for nighttime or low-visibility use.
- Lettering: Minimum 6" series C capital letters.
- Mounting: Use of a staff is recommended for visibility and flagger fatigue reduction.
Reflective Apparel (ANSI/ISEA)
All workers within the right-of-way must wear high-visibility safety apparel.
- Daytime: Class 2 or Class 3 vest.
- Nighttime: Class 3 is highly recommended for maximum contrast.
- Reflective Material: Must be visible at a minimum of 1,000 feet.
